Southside Community Kitchen Volunteer Code of Conduct
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure all volunteers uphold the mission, values, and integrity of Southside Community Kitchen. Volunteers play a vital role in delivering food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, and your behavior reflects directly on the organization and its service to the community.
Guiding Principles
When possible, staff will address minor issues informally through coaching or conversation. The goal is to clarify expectations and support the volunteer in correcting behavior. Examples include tardiness, minor policy misunderstandings, or communication issues.
If issues continue or are more serious, staff will meet with the volunteer to discuss specific concerns. The discussion will include the nature of the problem, expected changes, and a plan of action. SCK staff is committed to resolving issues, though maintains the right to terminate volunteer service if deemed necessary.
AcknowledgmentI acknowledge that I have read and understand the Volunteer Code of Conduct. I agree to uphold these standards and represent the organization with integrity and respect.
